Chronic pain is any pain that lasts longer than three months, but the process starts at the time of injury. Chronic pain can be impacted by a number of biological and environmental factors. At Thrive Physical Therapy we address all aspects of the pain that are contributing to the chronic nature. Chronic pain can affect any part of the body and can manifest in various ways, including:
(knees, hips, shoulders, etc.)
(sore lower back, neck pain)
(stiffness, tenderness)
(burning, tingling, shooting pain)

At Thrive Physical Therapy, we only offer a personalized approach to pain management. We take the time to understand your unique situation and develop a treatment plan that addresses the root cause of your pain, not just the symptoms. Our treatment options may include:

I have chronic Lyme disease and because of that I have lived 20+ years of my life in pain. I have experienced joint, muscle, and nerve pain to the point of not being able to walk, difficulty breathing because the pain was so intense, and headaches that were so debilitating all I could do was be in bed with no sounds or light. My pain started when I was a teenager and made me sit out of MANY soccer games and practices, made going to school next to impossible, and I missed out on so many “typical” high school moments.
As a young adult, the pain made me reliant on my family to be able to live. I felt like a burden in every way and had little hope of ever being a “real person”. After many, MANY hours of research and multiple classes learning how to treat chronic pain with physical therapy, I applied those techniques to myself and now I live the most functional, real person, adult life I could have imagined with most days being pain free. PRAISE GOD! Knowing what chronic pain does to a person and knowing how to treat it is what makes me so passionate about treating it in my patients.
We treat a wide range of chronic pain conditions, including back pain, neck pain, joint pain (knees, hips, shoulders), headaches, arthritis pain, nerve pain, pelvic floor, and more.
